  1. I need to learn more about survival, but the tip I have is to suck on a rock if you are parched and have no water.

  2. My emergency tip is Dental Floss. It is amazingly strong and is small to pack. It can hold up blankets to make a shelter. Tie things up and so much more!

  3. Always carry a mirror or a shiny CD, then if lost you can signal searching aircraft. Max Kieffer

  4. My husband always carries a deck of cards, because if you are lost and start to play solitaire, shortly, someone will be looking over your shoulder to tell you what to move. Elaine Kieffer

  5. I carry a blanket in my car for emergencies. I have used it several times. Mostly to keep the kids warm while driving. But one time I saw an accident and the lady was in shock. I used the blanket to help her.

  6. We are in the process of setting up a survival kit. We always carry hats, gloves and at least one blanket in each car though. That way if anything ever happens we are prepared.
