Thrive Party Fall Sample: Brownie Cookie Pudding Cake



This is Chef Todd's Secret Recipe.  It a great way to showcase both the brownie and cookie mix at a party.  
I like my parties to be quick, and this is a more involved recipe and so my I'd suggest baking it before the party and then just talk about how I made it. 

Brownie Cookie Pudding Cake
Brownie Layer
2 ½ cups Thrive Fudge Brownie Mix
¼ cup brown sugar
1 TBSP Vegetable Oil
½ cup Water

Cookie Layer
1 cup Thrive Classic Cookie Dough Mix
1/3 cup water
2 TBSP. chocolate chips

Topping Layer
1 cup boiling water
½ cup brown sugar
2 TBSP. Cocoa Powder

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, spray a 9 x 9 pan with non-stick spray.
 Mix brownie mix, brown sugar, oil and water together and spread evenly across the prepared pan.
Mix cookie dough mix, water, and chocolate chips and drop spoonfulls over the brownie mixture
Mix brown sugar and cocoa powder together and sprinkle over the top of the brownie and cookie dough.
Pour boiling water over the top of the brown sugar mixture.  Do not stir.
Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.
Allow to cool and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
